Commissions
Commissions are a service commonly offered by illustrators and designers. They are especially popular at conventions and trade shows. If you're considering ordering one, here are some important things to keep in mind before moving forward:
1. A commission is not a character design service. I can absolutely draw your OC (original character), but what you're getting is my interpretation of your character; not a full blown character design created from scratch. Character design is a separate service with different rates and expectations.
2. Be as specific as possible. The more details you provide upfront, the smoother the process. Clear communication helps avoid misunderstandings and ensures the final result matches your vision.
3. Commissions are a one shot deal. What you're getting is my version of the idea based on the details we agreed upon at the beginning. It's not a back and forth development process like a collaborative project.
4. Revisions are a courtesy, not a guarantee. A single revision is fine; we all make mistakes or miss something now and then. But please note that multiple revisions are not part of the deal unless previously agreed upon. That's why clear communication from the start is key.
5. Let me say it again: Commissions # Character Design. These are two entirely different services with different scopes, pricing, and contracts. Please don't confuse one for the other.
6. All commissions must be SFW (Safe For Work). Trying to slip in NSFW content after payment or bend the rules to include gratuitous "cheesecake" is not okay. Let's keep things respectful and professional.
7. All commissions are done after payment is received through a secure link. This is not a "draw now, pay later" service. Once payment is confirmed, you'll be added to the queue.
8. Once you've paid, you're officially in line. So please be patient; I'll get to your piece as soon as your turn arrives.
9. Please don't spam my inbox or messages. I promise I'll reach out once I begin working on your piece. No need to chase.
10. Lastly and importantly: Paying for a commission doesn't make you my boss or owner. Let's keep things friendly, respectful, and professional.
With all that said, commissions are officially open!
